Whether you’re a new student or a returning student, the first week of classes can be a bit hectic – especially when it comes to finding your classroom. So, we want to give you some tips that might help you navigate your way around JTCC’s facilities.
Before you come to campus, log into your myTyler account, print your class schedule, and look over your class locations. Room assignments may have changed since you registered.
Downloadable maps of the Chester and Midlothian campuses may be found at http://www.jtcc.edu/locations. Kiosks featuring maps also may be found in various locations at each of the campuses.
It’s helpful to know which buildings are on which campus. The names are prominently displayed on the outside of each building, and signs are posted along campus roadways to point you toward the parking lots closest to each building. Here’s a building list by campus:
• Bird Hall
• Godwin Hall
• Goyne Hall
• Moyar Hall
• Nicholas Student Center
• Administration Building
• Eliades Hall (used to be called Academic Building)
• Hamel Hall (used to be called Science Building)
Nursing Education Center
The Nursing Education Center is home to our Nursing Program. It is located on the Johnston-Willis Campus of the CJW Medical Center.
As always, if you need assistance, just stop a John Tyler employee and ask for help, or post your question to the College’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/johntylercc.
