Get ready to hit the beach for some fiendish fun as John Tyler Community College’s Theatre Workshop students bring Psycho Beach Party to the stage. Set in 1962, the play features Chicklet Forrest, a teenage tomboy who desperately wants to be part of the surf crowd on Malibu Beach. One of the biggest things in her way is her many personalities. Among them – a check-out girl; a radio talk show hostess; a model named Steve; the accounting firm of Edelman and Edelman; and a vixen named Ann Bowman, her most dangerous alter ego. Psycho Beach Party is recommended for mature audiences.
You have three opportunities to catch Psycho Beach Party at John Tyler. Performances will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 16 and November 17 and at 3:00 p.m. on November 18. All shows will take place in the Nicholas Student Center on the College’s Chester Campus. They are free and open to students, faculty, staff and the community.

Psycho Beach Party by Charles Busch is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.
