Angels Among Us

For the eighth year, John Tyler Community College is sponsoring the Salvation Army/NBC12 Angel Tree program. This program makes holiday wishes come true for thousands of children in Richmond and the Tri-Cities.
The College’s Angel Trees are located at Chester in Goyne Hall and at Midlothian in the atrium of the Administration Building. Each angel represents a child and his or her wish list for the holidays.
If you decide to adopt an angel, please:
- Fill out the sign-up sheet located next to each tree. This is very important.
- Shop for your angel. All gifts must be new and unwrapped.
- Label each individual gift with the child’s code number. Be sure the label is secure.
- Return your gifts no later than Monday, December 3 at noon. At Midlothian, return gifts to College Relations, room E124, and at Chester, return gifts to room A102c.
Cash donations are also being collected in E124 at Midlothian and A102c at Chester. The money will be used to buy gifts for angels that are not adopted or returned. (Please note: We can only accept cash, not checks, and we cannot offer receipts.)
The College has organized a group volunteer date on December 12 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Richmond Distribution Center located at 8080 AMF Drive, Mechanicsville, Va. If you would like to volunteer with our group, contact Lisa Kendrick at email@example.com or 804-594-1527.
If you have questions about adopting an angel, please contact Lisa Kendrick at firstname.lastname@example.org or 804-594-1527 or Laurie Brown at email@example.com or 804-706-5015. You may also visit www.jtcc.edu/angeltree.
Thank you for supporting Angel Tree!
