Chester campus library will begin renovations at the end of the spring semester. During the yearlong project, the Chester campus library will be located in the Nicholas Center.

Details:

  • Chester library and CLC Lab will close at 9 pm on Tuesday, May 10.
  • The library will reopen in Nicholas 102 in June.
  • While the library is closed, books can be returned in the book drop located outside of Moyar Hall or to the Midlothian campus library.

Chester library in the Nicholas Center:

  • A limited number of computers will be available.
  • Computer use will be restricted to John Tyler students and staff and will be for academic use only.
  • Computer users will need to sign in with ID or EMPLID.
  • The book collection will be limited. Books and DVDs can still be requested from the Midlothian Campus Library for delivery at Chester
  • When the library reopens the book drop will be located outside of the Nicholas Center.

The renovation of the Chester library is scheduled for completion Fall 2012.
