Counseling Center staff provide:
- Academic counseling
- Supplemental academic advising
- Disabilities support services
- SDV 100 – College Success Skills classes
- Implementation of curriculum placements
- Coordination of recruitment activities
- Personal counseling
Student Success Center staff provide:
- Tutoring in most courses offered at John Tyler
- Tutorial software
- Training in test-taking skills
- Training in study skills
- Supplemental academic advising
- Assistance with transfer to four-year colleges and universities
Career Services staff provide:
- Career exploration, assessment and counseling
- MBTI Personality Assessment
- Strong Interest Inventory
- Cover letter and resume writing assistance/training
- Job binder
