Transfer Information

Tyler is a smart choice if you’re planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree.  You’ll save money, and interact with faculty in small classes. Best of all, Tyler has guaranteed admissions agreements.  If you take the required courses, achieve the required grades, and complete other parts of the transfer process, you’re in!

Non-degree seeking students who want to enroll in a class and transfer it back to their home university may need to provide a Transient Form before enrolling.

Students who want to complete their freshman and sophomore years of college work at Tyler and then transfer to a four-year college or university typically pursue two types of degrees:

  • Associate of Arts (AA)
  • Associate of Science (AS)

While the applied degrees - Associate of Applied Arts (AAA) and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) - are not designed to transfer, in some cases, students in these programs may be able to transfer. See all our majors.

Guaranteed Admissions Agreements
