Scavenger Hunt Challenge
Participants are tasked with using clues to gather materials from different JTCC club booths. Once all clubs have been visited, participants will receive a small prize! They’ll also be kids’ face painting and guitar music.

See a competition robot in action as members of the Library Bots, an engineering/robotics team, show off their creation. The Library Bots team, based out of the Chesterfield County Central Library and made up of middle and high school students, has competed in First Tech Challenge events for the past several years.

Create and decorate thank you cards for veterans at McGuire Veterans Hospital. The club will also be selling measles pins for $1. All proceeds go towards allowing a child in a third-world country to receive the Measles and Rubella vaccine.

What is the Z-degree?
The Z-degree is a zero textbook cost Associate Degree in General Studies. Students enrolled in the program will save as much as $2,000 over the course of four semesters. The pilot program begins Fall 2017 and space is limited. Interested students should apply early! Go to jtcc.edu/zdegree for more information.
