Foundation Art Award

The John Tyler Foundation Art Award (FAA) is sponsored by the John Tyler Community College Foundation, Inc. to showcase the artistic abilities of John Tyler's students. Once the winning entry is chosen by members of the Foundation Board, an image of it is converted into posters and note cards which are used extensively by the Foundation and the College.  Award winners receive a framed and matted copy of the poster as well as nine complimentary copies suitable for portfolio display.

2020 Foundation Art Award Competition

The 2020 Foundation Art Award Competition will run from October 25 through noon on November 1, 2019. Paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture, ceramics and graphic design entries are welcomed and encouraged. The winner will be selected and notified this fall. The winner and all finalists will be invited to attend the JTCC Student Awards Night in the spring, where they will be publicly recognized. To enter your work, fill out an entry form and plan to make an appointment with Professor Colin Ferguson to submit your entry.
