April is Autism Awareness Month

According to Chase’s Calendar of Events (Ref GT 4803. C48 2016), “In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, the Autism Society has been celebrating National Autism Awareness Month since the 1970s. This month creates a special opportunity for people to educate themselves and others about autism and issues within the autism community.”
The John Tyler Community College Libraries are a great place for families, caregivers and others to find information about autism. Some recent additions to the collection are:
