
Suggestions for summer reading 2015
If you find yourself heading to the beach or to the pool in a book-less condition be sure to visit one of the JTCC libraries to remedy your situation. We can help you choose something that will delight you. Or use this list to pick out just the right read:
If you read for information try one of these non-fiction titles:
- Dead Wake: the last crossing of the Lusitania
- What if?: serious scientific answers to absurd hypothetical questions
- Sapiens: a brief history of humankind
If you are looking for romance, mystery or adventure try one of these:
If you are interested stories with a historical setting try:
What about a visit to dystopia? Then try:
- Station eleven –a staff favorite!
- The selection
- Red rising
Summer is also a good time to read a classic you may have missed, try:
- Far from the madding crowd –soon to be a movie!
- Nineteen eighty-four
- Brave New World
And don’t forget to look for Harper Lee’s first book since To Kill a Mockingbird, Go Set a Watchman due to be published July 14 and now on order at JTCC libraries.

My daughter tiffany has a scholarship she wants to go into nuts could she possibly be enrolled in john Tyler to be close r I live in Hopewell but if she live with me I’m her mother would it be possible for her to enroll she just recently graduated at c Siegel center this June 9 2015 from highland springs please if u could reply to me my email is clarkpenny1969@gmail.com
