Hispanic Heritage Month at the Tyler Libraries
September 15 - October 15 celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month to honor the contributions of great Americans who descend from Central and South America, Mexico, Spain, and the Caribbean. In 2014, the United States' Hispanics comprised 17.3% of the national population (PewResearchCenter, 2016). This growing portion of our society has impacted our nations since its early beginnings.
