College Board to Meet in June

CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The public is invited to attend the upcoming meeting of the John Tyler Community College Board on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will take place at the college’s Chester Campus, located at 13101 Jefferson Davis Highway, in the Nicholas Center, room N102. A sign-up sheet will be made available 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting for those persons interested in addressing the Board.
John Tyler Community College offers more than 75 majors that provide pathways to careers in high-demand fields; transfer opportunities to four-year colleges and universities; and industry credentials and licensures. The college, with campuses in Chester and Midlothian, online classes, and off-campus classrooms, served more than 13,600 students during the 2019-20 academic year. It also assisted more than 6,300 learners through its workforce development division, Community College Workforce Alliance, a partnership between Tyler and Reynolds community colleges.
Closed July 1-4 & Web Changes Underway
The college will be closed July 1 – 4 for the Independence Day Holiday.
While the college is closed, current students may continue to register online for summer and for fall classes by logging into the Student Information System in myTyler/myBrightpoint.
New students, who are ready to the apply to the college, are encouraged to visit our Get Started page, which provides guidance and a link to or online application.
