CHESTER and MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – Starting this year, John Tyler Community College, which is becoming Brightpoint Community College, is offering students a Winter Mini Session. The session, which runs December 15, 2021 – January 12, 2022, will give students the opportunity to earn up to three college credits in just four weeks. All Winter Mini Session classes will be offered online, and classes are open to current and new Tyler students, as well as students from other colleges and universities who may want to take an extra class during their winter break. A list of courses offered during this new session may be found at www.jtcc.edu/schedule in the college’s Spring 2022 schedule by selecting “Mini Session” from the “Session” drop-down menu. Registration for the Winter Mini Session begins November 1, 2021.

Also, on November 1, 2021, registration for regular Spring 2022 classes will get underway. The spring semester course schedule includes classes taught on campus, completely online, through Zoom meetings, and in hybrid formats, offering students flexibility.
