SIS Gets a New Look
The Student Information System (SIS) is an important tool for students, and now, accessing information and features in SIS is becoming easier. Starting May 29, 2021, a new interface, called FLUID, will make SIS more user friendly. Students will continue to access SIS by logging into myTyler, but once they click on the icon, they will see an easier to read homepage, featuring three tiles.
- My Student Information – Goes to the Student Center page where students access their class schedule, payment, financial aid, and other features.
- Help & FAQ – Provides students with tips on and information about the FLUID interface.
- Navigate – Takes students right into Tyler’s Navigate system, where they can plan their schedule, register for classes, set up appointments with advisors and other areas at the college, get helpful to-do and important date reminders, and more.
An overview of the new FLUID interface may be found on the VCCS website.
As always, students who need technical assistance are encouraged to contact the college’s Help Hub.
