Tyler’s Cashier's Office accepts payments for tuition and fees by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa. Payments may also be placed in the secured drop boxes located in Moyar Hall (Chester Campus) or Administration Building (Midlothian Campus). Payments left in the drop boxes should be in envelopes and include all pertinent student/account information. While we transition to our new name, please continue to make checks out to John Tyler Community College; we cannot accept checks made out to Brightpoint Community College at this time.
You can pay your tuition and fees online with your MasterCard or Visa using the Student Information System in myTyler.
Please remember that John Tyler Community College does not generate bills for tuition and fees. It is your responsibility to make sure you pay your tuition and fees by the listed deadlines. If you do not pay all tuition and fees by the appropriate date, you may be dropped from your classes for non-payment.
It is the student's responsibility to drop any classes by the last day to drop with a refund for each session to ensure no debt is incurred.
Closed July 1-4 & Web Changes Underway
The college will be closed July 1 – 4 for the Independence Day Holiday.
While the college is closed, current students may continue to register online for summer and for fall classes by logging into the Student Information System in myTyler/myBrightpoint.
New students, who are ready to the apply to the college, are encouraged to visit our Get Started page, which provides guidance and a link to or online application.
