Peter and the Starcatcher Icons

When Tyler watercolor instructor, Michael Pierce, learned that The Lynn Theatre would host a production of Peter and the Starcatcher, he knew he wanted to be involved. He had seen the play and loved the exciting, fresh, irreverent take on a beloved classic story.

In his studio, Michael made a number of drawings that reference objects and themes from the play. You can see several of these icons in use on the posters and the program, as well as in the finished artworks displayed in an exhibition at the theatre. As you watch Peter and the Starcatcher, keep an eye out for the moments that served as Michael’s inspiration. Can you find them all?
